Review

Why does it matter if Sifters leave reviews on iTunes?

1. We care about your opinions!

First and foremost, we care about what our listeners think and leaving a review is one of the fastest ways to do that. If you are already listening to us on iTunes, it's just a few clicks to start typing away your thoughts and feelings about Sift the Podcast and what you love or hate about our work.

2. It helps other users discover Sift the Podcast

We want to have a community of Sifters and the fastest way for that to happen is for Sift the Podcast to be easy to find. iTunes has analytics and other things that you can learn about through various search engines, or you may already know about it.
But the bottom line is this: the more reviews we have, the more likely it is that someone will find us.

In case you need some help with leaving a review on iTunes, here's some help for you:

For iPhone Users

1. Open the Podcast app

If you can't find it try searching for it in the App Store or in the search bar.

2. Tap the "Search" button

3. Search for the podcast you would like to review

For best results, type in the full podcast name. Select the podcast and not the episode in order to review the podcast.

4. Select "Reviews" on the podcast page

5. Select "Write a Review"

6. Give the podcast a star rating and compose your review

Some things to keep in mind are:
  • Apple does not edit the reviews for content or grammar
  • Your review must be under 300 words
  • Avoid bad language, URLs, or personal information

7. Press "Send"

Give the review some time and it should be posted, assuming you met the guideline requirements.
